Our son thrived over the course of therapy and he took his first steps with our PT.
Jaime provided us with very helpful strategies.  Her understanding of child development was extremely evident.

Everything was wonderful – no improvements needed

I am delighted that my child has been able to meet every motor goal and milestone AND hope that in the near future he will be able to continue his progress with gross motor skills – running and jumping.

My son went from being almost non-verbal to speaking complete, clear sentences.
The therapy was fun, easy to follow, and my son looked forward to each session.
Sarah was knowledgeable, friendly and caring.  She used all her skills when doing therapy and was fantastic when working with my son.

I am delighted that my child has been able to speak beautifully AND hope that in the near future he will be able to speak without the errors he makes today when he is developmentally ready.

Michelle C

My son’s speech is almost perfect. He now requests things that he wants when he wouldn’t do that before.

Emily is excellent at her job!  From day 1 my son had a connection with her.  My son is very moody and even at his worst Emily never gave up.  She was always happy, kind, sincere and positive.  I would not change a thing about her!!!

I am delighted that my child has been able to spend the time that he did Emily and learn from her what he did AND hope that in the near future he will be able to still say “Picking up the daisies” which she used to say to him and that makes him remember her.

Erin G

My daughter has become more involved in viewing objects at a distance and her hand-eye coordination is improving as well.

The professional and personalized attention given to my daughter as well as the coordination between therapists to work on goals that were combined-  such as fine motor, seeing an object, picking it out of the background and picking it up – were most positive for my daughter.

Tracy was very knowledgeable and very personable.  She was great with our daughter.  I can’t think of anything she could have done better.

I am delighted that my child has been able to identify objects at a distance and enjoy watching them, such as birds, AND hope that in the near future she will be able to walk and talk.

Lori allowed my 3 ½ year old to participate in every session with her brother.  It was amazing.  Lori often allowed our daughter to demonstrate the therapy she wanted our son to do.

Our son is now stronger, more confident and more adventuresome.

Lori is an amazing therapist.  The entire experience was positive and I am very thankful for her help.  I have no recommendations for any improvement!

I am delighted that my son has been able to crawl and sit up by himself AND hope that in the near future he will be able to run very fast!

Jodi C

My son speaks clearly and learns more daily and he’s very vocal!

Julie’s warm personality, patience and her ability to easily connect with my son made therapy a breeze.  She was amazing with him and he loved her.  Julie is phenomenal.

I am delighted that my child has been able to communicate more and use more and more words AND hope that in the near future he will be able to continue to advance.  He went from a very small delay to being slightly ahead.  We miss you Julie  XXXOO.

Renee R

Kristen had great ideas for presenting familiar and new foods to increase interest in the foods.  Kristen has modeled great skill sand ideas for working with my son.

Kristen’s presence truly helped me to decrease my anxiety over my son’s feeding issues. My son was always so thrilled to see her.

Kristen is truly great at what she does.  She helped with so many aspects of my son’s “sensitivities” from feeding issues to trying on new shoes!  She needs no improvement!  Kristen provided support to our family in many ways.

When Kristen started working with our son, he was in the 0% for weight.  At his 3rd birthday he is slightly above 50%.

I am delighted that my child has been able to reach the 50% for weight and be open to new foods  so that he is more typical in his eating AND hope that in the near future he will be able to truly eat like a typical 3 year old without so much coaching!

Mary Z

We have noticed an increase in the number of words, use of two syllable words, and an increase in attempts to verbalize his needs and wants.

In all honesty, everything about Rinda’s manner and therapeutic approach and character was exemplary and superb!  She was gentle but consistent, flexible and dependable, answered our many questions with thoughtful, very helpful suggestions; she cared about our son succeeding!

Rinda provided weekly reinforcements for at-home strategies as well as for skills for our son.  Rinda explained every positive step our son took so that we understood and appreciated his course.  She always praised his attempts and created an environment where his self-confidence increased as well as his speech.

I am delighted my child has been able to share his insights, thoughts, wants, needs and interests with us and his peers AND hope that in the near future he will be able to continue to acquire speech, form sentences, learn “-ing” and how to pluralize (-s, -es) words, and that we can continue to be the support Rinda showed us how to be!

Karen U-G

I used to not be able to take my son to the store, to a restaurant, or calm his fits!  Today, I am happy to say that these are all possible!

From the first visit, Amy provided interventions that we could implement to help my son with his sensory needs.

Amy provided information and interventions that we could use on a daily basis to help my son that have absolutely changed his life and enhanced our family life.

I am delighted that my child has been able to experience and enjoy things that used to be so overwhelming for him.  It has enabled us to do more as a family AND hope that in the future he will be able to regulate his sensory needs more independently.

Jess H

We have noticed that our daughter has improved pronunciation, increased word development, and increased comfort with overall communication with others.

Rinda provided us with tools to use and practice between sessions.

Rinda was knowledgeable about our questions, very resourceful and supportive.
I am delighted that my child has been able to share her feelings, needs and experiences with us verbally AND hope that in the near future she will be able to continue to expand her communication.

Jen B

We have noticed great improvement with our son’s sensory issues – he now wears a hat with no problem.  Also good improvement with sequencing.

Mary Ann was great at working in a way that worked best for my son.  She brought great activities that he enjoyed.  She was also a very kind person who we enjoyed seeing and speaking with.

I am delighted that my child has been able to do better with his sensory issues, such as wearing hats and touching things that are a different consistency and not being bothered that it’s on his fingers!

Our son made great strides visually during the time Tracy worked with him.  He started to track accurately, aim and reach and even anticipate.  We are SO pleased with his progress!

We learned how to best help our son, not only in specific therapeutic ways, but also in daily life.
Tracy was so kind to our entire family.  She was extremely flexible and saw our son both at school and at home.  She was honest about the challenges our son faced but positive and encouraging at the same time.

I am delighted that my child has been able to spend time with Tracy.  I am extremely proud of the work he is doing.  She also helped ease the transition to preschool.  AND hope that in the near future he will be able to…all progress is positive – so everything will bring us joy!  Thank you Tracy.

Nicole H

Our son’s speech has drastically improved.  I wish we could have kept Julie!
Our son loved Julie. He looked forward to her coming to “Play”.

Julie is a wonderful people person.  She belongs working with children.  Wonderful, caring person – an asset to your business.

I am delighted that my child has been able to improve so drastically with such a wonderful person AND hope that in the near future he will be able to be completely caught up like he never struggled at all.

Jenny F

All aspects of therapy were positive for our daughter.

Kristen was caring, helpful, and understanding.

I am delighted that my child has been able to progress to this level of skills from the help of our therapists.

Our daughter is talking a little bit more.  She is starting to sing, like she and Rinda sang to “clean up.”

Rinda was patient and friendly.

I am delighted that my child has been able to try to talk more than before AND hope that in the near future she will be able to talk better, in sentences and conversations.

Roryann R and Brian R

The goals I had set for my child were reached in the first month of therapy.  Randi showed us how to massage our daughter’s muscles in the neck and shoulder which helped her to mover her head better.

Randi explained everything well and was very understanding and caring while working with our child.

I am delighted that my child has been able to accomplish her goals within the first month of therapy and was able to walk at about 9-10 months with a helmet.  We had a great therapist to help her along the way.

Betsy was very engaged and knowledgeable.  She worked well with our son and family.
I am delighted that my child has been able to improve his speech AND hope that in the near future he will be able to continue improving.

Leah R

My son is enrolled in Early Intervention services.  His third birthday is on September 2nd, which unfortunately means that our time with EI is coming to an end.

I wanted to take a moment to let you know that Mary Ann has been so wonderful working with my son.  He has severe hearing loss, and a PDD diagnosis.  He has had such a great connection with Mary Ann.  She helped him get through sequencing activities, and always had fun things planned.  It really shows that she truly cares about the children and families she works with.

My son loved working with Mary Ann, and we have learned a lot from her.  She always had great resources and ideas for us.  She was very positive and always complimentary of our efforts with my son.  Her activities were so unique, and yet in working with his entire EI team she found ways to incorporate what the other therapists were working on to make sure that his care was consistent.  She is a fantastic OT!

I will certainly recommend your agency, and Mary Ann, to anyone who is in need of services.  She had helped my son grow in so many ways and has given us many good tips which we will continue to use as we move on to the next phase of our son’s development.  We are so lucky to have had her as part of our EI team.

My child started to talk so much more and using words in a sentence.  Is expressing himself more with words rather than gestures.  Started to talk more clearly as well.

Linda’s support and suggestion on what we need to do to continue our child’s growth were most positive.

Linda worked well with my son.  She engaged him and he responded very well to her.  She had a very positive energy and was amazing!  We lover her and will miss her!
I am delighted that my child has been able to express himself by using words AND hope that in the near future he will be able to continue his progress.

Unsolicited from a mom

"Hey I wanted to tell you that I made this chicken bake the other day with frosted flakes and Cayenne pepper.

Real good. But I kinda went crazy with the pepper.  But we sat down as a family and ate (for the first time).  It felt good.  I want to do it a lot more.  Thanks for being more than just her OT.  You don't know how much you've helped her and especially me.  See you Thursday!"

Our daughter has made great improvements in her communication since Kim started treating her.  Kim had great ideas for incorporating learning into everyday activities.  Before Kim started to see our daughter, she would simply scream when she wanted something. Now her behavior has greatly improved since she is less frustrated.  Kim was kind, trustworthy, and very professional.  Always on time for appointments and kept our daughter on task while being sweet natured.

I am delighted that my daughter has been able to finally communicate her needs AND hope that in the near future she will be able to carry on a conversation with her peers.  Kim is awesome...we will miss her!

Michele F

Our son was like a sack of potatoes when Mary Ann started his services.  She has helped him to become a very happy, independent boy.  He is now able to use his body and brain in ways we weren’t’ sure he’d ever be able to.  There isn’t enough room to describe how thankful we are for Mary Ann’s help.

We are grateful for the time and care that Mary Ann put into each session.  She was so loving and patient, but at the same time had our son work hard.  Mary Ann is perfect!

Mary Ann always went above and beyond to make sure our family was involved and comfortable.  Our son loved her.  She is the best OT!  None of our son’s therapist will EVER compare!  We are so thankful she was brought into our lives and for her help!

I am delighted that my son has been able to become independent and confident with himself.  He is so steady and mobile AND hope that in the near future he will be able to overcome the obstacles that still stand in his way.

Karen R

My son’s overall strength improved through Tara’s therapy.  He learned to crawl, pull himself up to stand and eventually take steps.

Tara always gave us new ideas to try and always incorporated my other kids into therapy.  Tara always knew how to redirect our son when he didn’t want to do something.  She always made it fun and interesting.  Our new therapists do the same things with our son but he is not interested!  We really miss Tara.

I am delighted that my child has been able to have therapy with Tara.  We’ve learned a lot from her and she still keeps in touch and offers advice AND hope that in the near future he will be able to have enough confidence to walk on his own.

Karen R

Our son chews all kinds of food and drinks from a sippy cup (NO bottle any more).  He uses some utensils too.

Mary Ann was always interested in what was happening in our lives and she shared her life with us.  She always gave us new ideas to try and always had different activities for our son to try.  She was always very patient with our son.

I am delighted that my son has been able to chew all foods now and drink from a sippy cup thanks to Mary Ann’s therapy.

Nikki Jo F

Our daughter’s core stability has improved drastically!  She could not sit in a chair alone before therapy; now she is very independent.  She is also now able to feed herself and help with daily routines such as dressing and teeth-brushing.

The fact that Mary Ann included us in the sessions gave us the skills to work with our daughter on a daily basis.  Our daughter is much more outgoing after having such a wonderful weekly experience with Mary Ann.

Mary Ann was very inclusive, and it was clear that she really understood our daughter’s needs.  Mary Ann was also very helpful in providing exercises and information for us to use on our own.

I am delighted that my child has been able to be more independent in her own self-care!  She has come such a long way with the help of Mary Ann.   I hope that in the near future my daughter will be able to fully dress herself and write!

Nikki Jo F

Our daughter is much more vocal and does not resist trying to make new sounds as she often did before starting therapy.  She is also much less frustrated when trying to communicate with us.

The aspects of therapy that were the most positive were watching our daughter learn to make new sounds and gestures, and seeing her gain the ability to communicate her wants and needs more easily to us.

Stephenie was amazing!  I absolutely cannot recommend her enough.  She 100% understood our daughter’s need, and was able to redirect our daughter when she became frustrated or upset.  Stephenie’s help was truly invaluable to our family.

I am delighted that my child has been able to remember signs and gestures and attempt to repeat sounds AND hope that in the near future she will be able to more effectively communicate her needs by speaking and/or more consistent use of sign language.

Amee P

In the months that Rinda was working with our son he went from not saying much and just yelling NO at everything to being able to speak clearly and not be so frustrated.

Rinda was amazing with our son.

I am delighted that my child has been able to not be so frustrated and able to communicate wants and needs AND hope that in the near future he will be able to speak in full sentences without being prompted.

Ann M

Emily brought the best out in my son.  She had a unique way of engaging him and he loved interacting with her.  Everything about Emily was good!  She respected our son and our family so that it was team effort to improve his speech.  We feel so lucky that she was chosen to be our therapist and we miss her.

April G

Our daughter started talking!  She learned a sign language tool, knows her colors and can count.  She is starting to make sentences!  Rinda showed us what techniques to use and explained everything to help us with carryover during the week.  Rinda is fantastic.  She was wonderful with our daughter.  She is very knowledgeable about speech therapy and children in general and we enjoyed working with her.

I am delighted that my child has been able to learn to talk AND hope that in the near future she will be able to progress on a normal, age appropriate scale and continue to develop her speech.

Deborah and Noam G

Emily is fantastic in every respect.  She was even willing to accommodate our teaching our son to be bi-lingual.  Emily learned some Hebrew to use with him!  Her warmth, flexibility, positive attitude, connection to our son could not have been improved upon.

Leah R

Over the course of therapy we have noticed that our son has a much easier time coping with and following routines.  Mary Ann provided the most stress relief for our son throughout the week and gave him great useful skills for self-soothing.  Mary Ann is very caring and really has a way of creating strong connections with the kids and families.  She should keep doing what she does!

I am delighted that my child has been able to follow routines and get through adult directed activities with fewer tantrums AND hope that in the near future he will be able to continue using what Mary Ann taught him and add even more steps to his routine.

B. Candie K

My son has overcome some of his gravitational and tactical issues.  He’s more secure with himself.  He is physical, wanting to spin or bounce.  Flo used that to calm him before sessions.  It worked!

Flo always went out of her way to help not only my son but me too.

I am delighted that my son has been able to become more secure within himself.  He often hesitates to do most things.  I believe because of working with Flo, he was able to finally do the tunnels at McDonald’s.  Yeah! AND  hope that in the near future he will be able to overcome his tactile issues and start eating at the table, as well as potty training.

B. Candie K

We only got to work with Tracy for a short time- a couple of weeks. She did, however, give us plenty of ideas and a place to go.  I am delighted that my son has been able to come so far in such a short time.  I’m glad that he was able to make a friend along his journey AND hope that in the near future he will be able to overcome all of the obstacles he is facing in his life right now.

The aspects of therapy that were the most positive for my son were consistency and learning how to help our child.  Emily was a great teacher.

Amy W

We’ve noticed a significant improvement in our son’s verbal expressive skills.  The most positive aspects of therapy were the one-on-one time our son had with Rinda, written instructions about how to continue the “lesson” throughout the week, and the coaching for us.  Rinda was engaging with our son and was very proactive in communicating to me and my husband about how our son was doing and how we could support his learning.

I am delighted that my child has been able to make such progress that he is on par with the skills of his peers AND hope that in the near future he will be able to keep up!

Linda S

Our daughter went from being non-verbal to talking in 3 to 4 word sentences.  The most positive aspect of therapy for our child and family was the changing location every other week from home to daycare.  Kim was great!  I am delighted that my daughter has been able to learn to speak AND hope that in the near future she will be able to talk more clearly.

Aubrey B

Our daughter has an improved gate pattern.  The relationship between our child and Lori has been amazing.  Lori was the best - flexible, understanding and supportive. I am delighted that my child has been able to improve and grow.

Michelle W

Our daughter became very comfortable with Kristen. Kristen made it very easy for the family to be involved.  We love her!

Kristen really challenged my daughter.  I loved everything about how she handled my child.  I am delighted that my daughter has been able to use her left hand more without verbal reminders AND hope that in the near future she will be able to regain most if not all of the functions in her left arm.

Our son has learned to accept more foods.  He has learned to drink from a straw.  He has also learned to crawl and eventually walk.

Sandy’s positive attitude really got us through this time.  Our son was very comfortable working with her and that made things a lot easier.  Sandy is such a good person.  She is an excellent listener and gives great advice.  She always had recommendations of new things we should try and she was always right.

Our son had his 15 month check-up recently. He is right where he should be for his age.  I am thrilled!

Over the course of therapy my son has become more alert, smiling and talking quite clearly.
The interaction between my child, family members and self was the most positive aspect of therapy.  Julie was respectful to my home and self.

Kelly U

Our daughter is exactly where she should be for her age – no longer delayed.  She’s also more willing to try new things and experiences.  Tara was always friendly and fun while still getting our daughter to do what she needed to do.  Tara was professional and just awesome!  She gave us great suggestions for home practice.

I am delighted that my child has been able to develop and catch up to her same age peers.

Anonymous

The sensory activities used in the therapy sessions were most important and helpful.  Julie was always modifying her plans for the day according to the needs of our son.  I am delighted that my son has been able to play and interact with other children AND hope that in the near future he will be able to talk and play for longer time periods.

Marleeka C

My son’s overall speech and behavior have improved.  Both Rinda and Stephanie were very friendly and patient.  Watching Stephanie work with our son and mock that after she left was extremely positive.

Stephanie was my son’s favorite therapist.  Still today he asks if “Stephanie come play today?”

My daughter’s gross motor skills are now excellent and she understands sequence.  Mary Ann did a wide range of things with my daughter.  Mary Ann was wonderful!  She met all aspects of care, even through the stages of growing.  I am delighted that my daughter has been able to feed herself, use utensils, build on her skills, do cause/effect, do harder puzzles, and learned gross motor skills AND hope that in the near future she will be able to communicate with more of a vocabulary and walk without her AFO’s.

Krystal T

There is no other way that Emily can become better! Emily is part of our family. She is fun, understanding, and has a great personality. She is very knowledgeable in her field of study. My son can now verbally express himself and we can understand him!

Renee N

Our son couldn’t wait for “Miss Jaime” to come over and “play” with him. Jaime had a wonderful rapport with our son. She is excellent at what she does, is very cheerful and seems to really enjoy her job. We didn’t have much time together but we felt like we knew Jaime right away! We are delighted that our son was able to meet Jaime and learn new ways and ideas for us to help him with his torticollis.

Over the course of therapy, our son developed an amazing relationship with Sarah. His speech has come so far since the start! We not only learned techniques for speech from Sarah but also techniques for other issues we were having trouble with like behavior and sleep issues with our son. Everything was great about Sarah. She was very patient, kind and stern when she needed to be. She showed genuine concern and a sense of caring for our son that we didn’t expect. We are delighted that our son was able to work with Sarah and learn so much from her. He looked forward to her arrival every week and so did we!

Lori is the sweetest, kindest, most professional person we’ve met yet! Our daughter now does physically what Lori taught her to do: crawling, walking, going up and down steps – She did an incredible job. Our daughter now loves to dance in front of Sesame Street DVDs. We are delighted that our daughter has been able to learn so many physical skills and hope that in the near future she will be able to walk going up steps – she still crawls up steps but walks by herself coming down.

Anonymous

Our son has been able to ask us for what he wants instead of us guessing what he wants. Rinda is an excellent therapist. She is very caring and makes the session fun for our child. She also was very flexible with regard to my schedule. I am delighted that my son has been able to communicate with us AND hope that in the near future he will be able to articulate more clearly.

 Jenny F

Jaime was an excellent therapist. She’s shown us how to help our daughter even after her therapy so our daughter can continue to improve. We had Jaime from the time our daughter was 6 months until she turned 3 years old. Jaime is caring, very patient, a great teacher, deals very well with children and is very understanding of any/all situations. I am delighted that my child has been able to learn to walk with her gait trainer and hope that in the near future she will be able to walk by herself.

My son is more talkative and he is able to identify animals, certain sounds, shapes and colors without help. He is able to say more than 3 word sentences, although it is sometimes still difficult to understand what he says. The most positive aspects include my son’s ability to express himself more, being able to communicate and for me to understand his needs when he asks for things. He also understands what I am directing him to do. Sarah taught my son signs along with basic hard phrases. Sarah definitely has a way to get kids to learn!

Because of therapy my son talks much more, with greater clarity. Rachel was patient, kind, willing to play with my son and cheerful. I am delighted that my son has been able to express himself and communicate more clearly.

Melissa C

We now have more resources to help our son use his energy constructively and to help calm him down. Learning that our son is a sensory kid and what that means for us on a daily basis was an important outcome of therapy. We will miss the level of activity Kristen brought to therapy. She and our son were always up and moving. I am delighted that my son has been able to learn to jump and now uses pillows and a trampoline regularly and hope that in the near future he will be able to control his need to bite.

Carrie E

Both my girls eat and feed so much better. Meal times used to be stressful and now they are fun. My girls know how to tell me “all done” as well. They were on full table food by 10 months. Sarah, our OT, was exceptional. She always worked us into her schedule and she was never late. Sarah was always patient and positive. My children loved her! Sarah communicated very well. She was empathetic and caring and worked well with our girls. We will miss her. I am delighted that my children have been able to eat all table food with no problems since they were 10 months old. My girls have met all of our expectations!

Colin D

Mary Ann was prompt, friendly and welcoming. But most of all, she was able to facilitate immediate improvement. I am delighted that my boys have been able to mature at a rapid rate with Mary Ann’s help.

 Trisha D

Before our daughter began therapy, she couldn’t even sit up on her own. Less than 2 months later, she was walking! Morgan is very enthusiastic and energetic. She worked very well with our family and always seemed happy to come to our house. I appreciated how involved my husband and I were able to be. It was helpful to know how to help our daughter when Morgan wasn’t there.

 Kelly W

As a result of therapy, my son is better able to tell me his needs. Emily was an awesome therapist. My son is very stubborn and sometimes shy. Emily did a terrific job at getting and keeping his attention. She was always very positive and seemed to really care about his progress. She is greatly missed. I am delighted that my son has been able to communicate with me AND I hope that in the near future he will be able to talk better.

Rinda was excellent. She really helped our son come a long way with his speech. She got him to repeat words and put words together to build phrases. I hope that he will continue broadening his vocabulary and speak in more sentences.
